Powered by a high-speed FPGA capture card with 4x SFP/SFP+/SFP28 interfaces, the appliance enables lossless packet capture, nanosecond-accurate timestamping, packet slicing, deduplication, and advanced filtering using Berkeley Packet Filters (BPF). By recording network traffic at critical points within the infrastructure, PacketFalcon helps organizations quickly identify performance issues, investigate cyber threats, and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
Available with 7TB, 15TB, or 30TB SSD storage and equipped with 64GB RAM, PacketFalcon Mini provides scalable retention for long-term packet storage and historical traffic analysis. The platform supports PCAP and PCAPNG formats, simultaneous multi-user access through a secure web interface, and optional WLAN packet capture capabilities.
