OVERVIEW
NEOXPacketDirector is a centralized management system that provides users with a holistic view of devices across the network topology and helps them configure, monitor, manage and operate network visibility deployments.
The centralized NEOXPacketDirector software increases the productivity of network operations and DevOps teams and helps them maximize the ROI of network visibility equipment in their organization.
NEOXPacketDirector enables the automatic discovery and management of hundreds of virtual and physical NEOX Network Packet Brokers from the PacketLion and PacketTiger product families. It collects network statistics and traffic telemetry stored in Elastic databases and displayed with real-time graphical visualization using Kibana and Grafana dashboards.
Alarms and events from managed devices trigger email notifications from PacketDirector. Users can define different events and triggers for each device based on cross-device events.
PacketDirector is a central management system that manages all NEOXPacketLion and NEOXPacketTiger products to enable device configuration, statistics and alarm collection, and bulk operations for ongoing management.
